Oct. 7, 2025 We will travel to Shang-ri-la Gardens in Orange, TX in 7 person vans.  Cost for the vans and gas will be $22, which needs to be paid at our Sept. meeting.

There is no entrance fee to the Gardens.  We will have lunch at Old Orange Cafe (4 minutes from the gardens).  After lunch we will visit Cottage Cuttings Nursery, before returning home.  This nursery specializes in different plants!

Jan. 27, 2026  Fort Bend Museum, 410 S 5th St., Richmond, TX  77469.  We will park in the St. John’s parking lot, walk a block to meet at the Museum for a 10 am entrance.  Lunch is at Bob’s Taco Station in Rosenberg, TX.  Portilla Home and Garden Store is our next stop with plenty of other stores around if you are up to it!

Feb. 24, 2026  Texas Quilt Museum and Grandmother’s Garden in LaGrange, TX.  Cost is $10.00.  We will carpool to LaGrange.  The Quilt museum has our group scheduled at 10:15 am.  Grandmother’s Garden is with the museum and offers plants that ‘our grandmothers’ planted.  Lunch is walking distance away at Latte’s Cafe.  We will then head to the Czech Heritage Museum, free.

March 24-25 or 26, 2026  Road trip to San Antonio.  Plans TBA   Look forward to visit the Sunken Gardens, river walk, refurbished Alamo are all possibilities!  

April  28, 2026  Member’s Garden Tour.  We will visit 5 of our member’s gardens.  We will Park on the side by Carraba’s (on Hwy 6 near 59).  We will carpool from there, then eat at Carraba’s when we have seen all of the gardens!
